A Love of Languages!

A native English speaker from the US, I have been learning French since 1998 and have perfected my craft when living in Belgium France & Ecuador. Having a deep understanding of English and French language and culture allows me to help inspire learners.

A Passion for Teaching!

I'm a certified teacher with over 18 years of experience in 2nd language education. I hold a B.A in French and Spanish as well as a K-12 certification in 2nd language instruction. I also have a M.A in French Language, Literature & Culture. Making connections with students and supporting their diverse learning needs is my top priority. I use the latest technology and second language acquisition strategies to make languages comprehensible and engaging.

Two Kids of My Own!

My children's education is so important to me! I have a son and a daughter and I would do anything to ensure their success in school! I truly enjoy working with kids of all ages to help them feel safe and confident in language learning. Understanding child development and age-appropriate activities is key!

Avec plus de 15 ans d'experience en tant que professeur dans les écoles publiques et virtuelles, pour moi, enseigner les langues, c'est une passion! Née à New York avec l'anglais comme langue maternelle, je suis diplômée en français, espagnol et enseignement (K-12 Education). J'ai aussi un Master et un certificat avancé en ESL (anglais comme deuxième langue).

-Maman de deux enfants, j'ai quitté mon emploi à l'école publique en 2019 pendant la pandémie et je m'embarque maintenant dans une nouvelle carrière- créer des ressources pédagogiques pour les enseignants aux États-Unis et j'aide les enfants de tout âge à apprendre l'anglais et le français grâce aux cours virtuels.

-Sachez que j'ai des années d'experiences avec les enfants de tout capacités, peu importe leurs capacités et s'ils ont des difficultés scolaires. Toute information sur votre enfant restera confidentielle. J'aide chaque enfant à développer la confiance en soi et à progresser peu importe son niveau.

My daughter loved this class and working with Miss Megan has done wonders for her confidence. She has gone from be unwilling to try to actively offering opinions and suggestions (maybe a little too much sometimes!) and taking correction to her pronunciation in the spirit its intended. Miss Megan has taken time after a couple of classes now with extra praise which is really appreciated.
